I searched the internet after I made this and there’s not one recipe for Cherry Apple Ginger Sangria...(recipe below and you’re welcome) but when you’re farther than a few steps from the liquor store and your dad wants Sangria...you mull through the garage of your grandparents country house and find the perfect mason jar with a little spot, grab the mason jars, pick some of your Pappaw’s apples and ruin your favorite white summer tank. And since this blog is actually about interior design and kitchens...you’ll want to know that when we updated this house a few years ago I chose paint for the kitchen walls because it’s my favorite and it reminds me of my grandmother...she would not approve of the ratio of wine to sugar water. 🤣 No measurements on the ingredients. This is going to be perfect...a with a coffee station, ton of natural light that overlooks a private plunge pool, and a spot for 99 pairs of shoes. The things I learn about my clients are super personal. I’ve...i mean...we’ve been dreaming about this space for a while. ❤️
A favorite place of mine is in the shop. Growing up in a family of makers and craftsmen...that love only makes sense. While I’m not usually the one behind the saw, I certainly spend a lot of time gaining knowledge about all the equipment, tools, and processes that go into making and finishing custom crafted furniture and cabinets. It also helps to have a husband whose been in the cabinet hardware and finish industry for over 25 years and so was his family....so shout out to him and all he’s “taught me” ❤️
