It’s hard to know what to post today; the events of this last week have me feeling so heavy-hearted, sad, and angry. My current projects and plans must go on, work has to be done and the daily routines of life move forward, but still it feels disconnected to post to promote my business (though no hate at all to those choosing to do that).

It may seem out of place for an account focused on wedding and art content to post about current events, but there’s a real person behind the screen and it would be dishonest to ignore how I’ve been affected by all that’s happened this week. I know a lot of you feel this way too.

All I can think, and all I can hold on to, is the gospel of Christ. Jesus gives real hope to the hurting and brings reconciliation amongst us all and between man and God. Nothing is more important than this!
Roman’s 5:8 says this: God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

In the coming weeks I’ll begin sharing about the shop plans for the holiday season, including events and new products for the year, all of which I’m very excited to show you all! For now though, I’m going to spend time letting the Lord settle my heart and strengthen my faith. If you’re feeling heavy right now, I pray you would do the same! ❤️‍🩹

I haven’t posted here in a while, and that’s because life has been BUSY! I’ve been working on a handful of branding jobs, some signage work, a couple pop-up shops around the holidays, and more. I’m going to spend this spring getting back into the swing of things and being more consistent here on IG. Tell me what you would love to see!
