Pi Chi’s Guide to Informal Recruitment 🤍

Informal recruitment, or Continuous Open Bidding for chapters that rush, is a process focused on meet-and greet events that helps the active members get to know each potential new member in a casual and friendly environment.

Invitees to these events include all young women who aren’t already committed to another sorority, so we would love to see you at our recruitment events this September 👀

Didn’t manage to get signed up for primary recruitment? That’s all good! Pi Chi does not participate in rush, so our recruitment process is slightly different.

We follow an informal recruitment strategy, similar to continuous open bidding (or COB for short), which revolves around meet-and greet events that begin after rush week has ended. Rushing or not, all are welcome to our informal recruitment events that are hosted starting in September 🌟

We love and adore our friendships we have between other Greek chapters on our campus! Pi Chi is so grateful for the support and love from other amazing women, whether we met at a Panhellenic event or have been friends since highschool! After achieving a chapter GPA of 3.605, making us the third highest in Panhellenic, we are beyond proud of our sisters for achieving dean’s list or 4.0’s! Both active and recent alumni made great academic achievements this spring semester 👩‍🎓💐
