When you find out your daughter will simply set her glasses on the ground during recess instead of other options that would take more time, you figure it’s worth the time crocheting a glasses case necklace so she can wear her glasses a different way during recess.

Got a massive bucket of loose cords, and I was shopping for cable keepers before I reminded myself that I have plenty of yarn and I know how to crochet!

A dear coworker at my day job retires at the end of the year. She requested a handmade gift from me as her retirement gift (I love that energy from her) and of course I obliged. Modified the colors from the pattern a bit to use up some of my yarn mountain, but this pattern is from “Kawaii Crochet Garden” by Melissa Bradley-Vatcher. I’m excited to give this gift but I’m going to miss working with its new owner.

My only craft show of 2024 is Saturday the 23rd at Morgan Rd elementary in Liverpool! So this week I’ll be finishing framing on some new pieces. Hope to see you there!
