A thoughtful transformation in the heart of Rancho Estates, Long Beach, where a 1950s Cliff May-designed home finds new life. This existing garage was converted into a junior ADU that replicates and extends the original living space, preserving the spirit of mid-century modern design.
Open floor plans, post-and-beam construction, and a seamless indoor–outdoor flow guide the transition from the main house into the JADU. Flooded with natural light and grounded in organic textures and neutral wood tones, the space feels warm, intentional, and effortlessly connected.
