Drone racing?! Would you be interested?

Will drone racing fly as a sport? Imagine careening through the forest chasing Stormtroopers on speeder bikes as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia did in a famous scene from "Star Wars," flying around trees and ducking under branches.

Please don’t be a Dridiot with your drone.

We’ve all read and heard about the reckless behavior and dangerous situations that some hobbyists and possibly professionals are causing with their drones with regard to wildfire fighting. Please, please, please, if you are anywhere near a fire, DON’T PUT YOUR DRONE IN THE AIR. You have no idea of what the game plan is with the aerial firefighting equipment and how high and where they might need to fly. You might be a ways from the fire but unknowingly be preventing one of the tankers from filling up or other activities.

Getting that YouTube footage isn’t as important as saving lives and people’s homes. Please ground your aircraft anywhere near a fire.

If you see something, please say something to someone.
We are the future of drones and as such, we must be good ambassadors drone usage and safe conduct.

Thanks for keeping this in mind, this is a very dangerous situation that must be stopped.
