The Select Board just voted to have early voting for the Sept. 30th Special Election for the Middle School debt exclusion.

You will be able to vote in person at the Town Clerk’s office, 231 Maple Rd (Greenwood Center), at these times:

Sat 9/20 9am-3pm

Mon 9/22 9am-6pm

Tues 9/23 9am-4pm

Wed 9/24 9am-4pm

Thu 9/25 9am-3:30pm

Elections with statewide races have automatic early voting. Under current law, there must be a vote like this for every local election to have early voting offered. The current members of the SB were all in favor of doing this for every local election going forward.

To note: this is different than absentee voting, which is available for those who cannot be at their polling place on September 30th as well.

Ballot vote: Sept 30, 7 am - 8 pm @ The Community House

Voter registration deadline: Sept 19 @ 5 pm

In-person absentee: Town Clerk’s Office (231 Maple Rd), by Sept 29 @ 12 pm

Mail-in absentee: Apply by Sept 23 (must be received by Sept 30)
