Every year around this time, we do an event called "Unidos en Gratitud" - United in Gratitude. We have partnered with local organizations to provide snack bags for underprivileged and food insecure community.

This year, the need is greater, due to the government shutdown and lack of resources, many families will not have funds for meals much less a Thanksgiving meal.

We are doing a fundraiser to support local families anonymously during the Thanksgiving season and supplement a Thanksgiving dinner.

With your donations, we want to reach as many families in our community as possible.

It is Women’s History Month and I want to acknowledge the history of women’s’ movement, all the rights once denied but now recognized, celebrate the progress that has been achieved, the work still to be done, and above all, always collectively work together to create more opportunities with an inclusive community.

Thanksgiving Kindness Project
October 30th from 1 - 3 pm at Pequeno Park located at 4227 West 180th Street, Torrance CA 90504.
We are partnering wth Local Anchor to make Homemade Thanksgiving Kindness Cards to bring smiles to families across Los Angeles county this year. Kindness cards will be distributed by the LA Food Bank along with food during the 2022 holiday season.
Join us to make homemade kindness cards in Spanish & English.
All grades welcome to participate and volunteer.
