Let’s Rescue Dogs

We’re not posting this to make people sad, but to spread awareness of the reality we’re living in. Comet was so small and innocent and now he’s gone. He waited at Devore to be saved for a long time and nobody came 💔 He should have been warm and safe in someone’s bed and he was killed alone and scared. The guilt we feel cannot be put into words. So many what ifs. But there are too many dogs to help, there are too little foster homes, there are no adopters and there are not enough donations to go around. If you’ve been on the fence about fostering, please don’t wait. The dogs can’t wait any longer. I’m so sorry Comet. 🌈

Her notes are heartbreaking 💔 She’s beyond skinny, she has an old fracture that healed wrong, she’s lactating so she recently had puppies, she was hit by a car and had a seizure and her eye is really messed up. She did not suffer like this just be euthanized and thrown in a freezer, we’re so sick of it! But we’ve been saying it for weeks- we’re barely holding on. We can’t continue to rescue the dogs who need us if things don’t change. This little girl could cost thousands and she needs to go to the vet immediately.
