🚨HOMELESSNESS & A PEOPLE-CENTRIC MODULAR SOLUTION🚨
Homelessness has become a global problem, affecting millions of people worldwide. In the United States, approximately 600,000 people are left homeless. On a global scale, that number rests in the billions.
Peter DeMaria, the first Architect to be credited with building the first legal shipping container residence in the United States, shares his story on how he wants to make the world a better place by helping solve the homeless crisis in Los Angeles, CA while also making a positive impact on the rest of the world.
DeMaria's drive and passion to provide for those who are less fortunate is truly inspiring and is something to replicate. DeMaria goes into a deep dive and discusses his homeless project "HOPE on Lafayette" which was built last year as a way for homeless people to rehabilitate themselves and receive a second chance at Life.
In this call-to-action video, Peter DeMaria hopes to inspire all architects, builders, developers, and caring individuals to strive to make the world a better place through architecture and a strong compassion for one another.
