UPDATE: K9 Raider has been found safe!

Police K9 Raider of Pagedale Police Department has escaped his confined area after recent storms and the PD is asking for the communities help in locating him.

K9 Raider is wearing a black collar with white “POLICE” lettering and is a brindle colored Dutch Shepherd.

K9 Raider is trained in police bite work and should not be approached.

The dog that started it all; K9 Bax of Maryland Heights Police Department.

K9 Bax has been diagnosed with cancer and is scheduled for humane euthanasia this coming Monday. Please see MHPD’s page for details on the procession and pay your respects to this legend of a dog.

Our condolences go out to Bax’s handler and their entire department.

We’ve got a lot in store for 2025 and we can’t wait to get to it.
