If you’re spending your Euro summer in Paris, make time for Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen. More than a flea market, it’s a pilgrimage for anyone who loves interiors, antiques, art, and exceptional craftsmanship.

These are a few pieces that caught our eye while wandering the markets. They’re moments of inspiration that remind us why we travel to source.

Every stall holds a new perspective, every patina tells a story, and every object has the potential to influence the spaces we create.



Proof that even the most functional objects can be extraordinary.

This Italian Space Age spiral staircase blurs the line between architecture and sculpture. Mirror-polished chrome, floating cantilevered treads, and a silhouette that feels as dynamic today as it did decades ago.



In the 1970s, formal seating gave way to expansive modular sofas designed for conversation, lounging, and everyday life. Swiss manufacturer de Sede became one of the defining names of the movement, elevating leather upholstery to an art form through traditional saddlery techniques and uncompromising craftsmanship.



This monumental high-back settee draws from the rich design traditions of Moorish Spain, where Islamic geometry, intricate wood carving, and architectural ornament shaped the decorative arts for centuries.

The carved walnut frame is balanced by sumptuous mustard velvet upholstery, breathing new life into a centuries-old form, proving that exceptional craftsmanship transcends time.



This biomorphic hardwood table lamp embraces the natural character of the wood rather than concealing it. Carved from a single piece of hardwood, its floating silhouette and pierced voids celebrate the organic grain, twists, and imperfections that make every piece one of a kind.

Abel Macias transforms simple forms into stories. Birds perch among geometric branches, vibrant wildlife, and landscapes that feel both playful and deeply rooted. Influenced by his Mexican heritage and the colors of Southern California, his work balances folk tradition with a distinctly contemporary voice.
