Nicholas Brendon

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our brother and son, Nicholas Brendon. He passed in his sleep of natural causes.

Most people know Nicky for his work as an actor and for the characters he brought to life over the years. In recent years Nicky has found his passion in painting and art. Nicky loved to share his enthusiastic talent with his family, friends and fans.

He was passionate, sensitive, and endlessly driven to create. Those who truly knew him understood that his art was one of the purest reflections of who he was.

Our family asks for privacy during this time as we grieve his loss and celebrate the life of a man who lived with intensity, imagination, and heart.

Thank you to everyone who has shown love and support.

Posting a quick Nicky update. He’s doing better now but had a little trouble breathing this morning. His doctor said there was some concern for possible pneumonia so we called an ambulance and he spent a little time at the ER. They gave him something to help with his breathing and to bring down his blood pressure. He’s back home now and sleeping comfortably.

It’s T with a Nicky surgery update and happy birthday wishes for Nicky and his twin brother Kelly!!!

Nicky is doing really well and basically sleeping in between nurse visits. He’s checked all the boxes for release except he still needs an X-Ray. They are calling radiology now and still working to clear him to get out tonight so he can celebrate his birthday.

He’s been able to eat soft foods with no problem so plans are ready for cake and ice cream with his mom and stepdad plus a call with his brother to share the day.
