We shared moments through music, through life, and through a deep understanding of what it truly means to serve the song. James had a gift that can’t be taught… that feeling, that pocket, that soul. He didn’t just play drums—he spoke through them.

Working alongside him and having him as part of the Funk Therapy Music family was an honor I will always carry with me. His presence, his humility, and his spirit made every session, every conversation, something special.

James was the kind of man who didn’t need to say much—his groove said it all.
