People have been asking why we’re calling to defund DPS if they keep “us” safe. Well we explain why they don’t. They continuously racially profile and harass Black students & community members. They uphold white supremacy which includes the policing of Black folks. DPS also contributes to the over policing of the local South Central community. Defund and Abolish DPS.
