My heart is heavy. We lost the legendary George Maloian on Saturday. 💔 He was more than a colleague at APM Music where we met – he was a true friend, a brilliant mind, and the wittiest person I knew. He was a force in the music industry, working across The Clearing House, Virgin, Sony, and Warner during his career, and managing phenomenal music-driven productions like the legendary campaign featuring Madonna x Missy Elliot, Lenny Kravitz x Sarah Jessica Parker, Daft Punk x Juliette Lewis, AC/DC x Audrey Hepburn, and many more. Eventually, he left Hollywood for NYC’s Broadway lights (he loved theatre), and then went back to Detroit to be with his beloved family. Our bond was unbroken and we caught up regularly. He always had that special sparkle, that quiet warmth, and I could count on him to make me smile. George, you lit up and soundtracked our lives. I love you, and we miss you terribly. ❤️
