You cannot understand the Father without Jesus, period. Nobody has ever understood the Father without Jesus. Nobody was supposed to understand the Father without Jesus. If they could have understood the Father without Jesus, what's the purpose of the cross? The cross is not about God's justice. The cross is about man's greatest injustice. The cross is not the witness of how just God is. The cross is a witness of how we grossly mishandled the Incarnation of the Word of God.

What you set you eyes upon matters
If are you a Christian who is always looking at their circumstances and consumed by your feelings, emotions, and what you need from God, you may not understand the gospel.
If you are a Christian who has set their eyes upon Christ, your eyes rise above the circumstances and are captivated by him and your relationship with him. you have crossed over into the land where there is love, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit and his promises continue to be fulfilled in your life.
How do I help those Christians who don't have their eyes on Christ? You can't reason with them or counsel them to look away from those things.
You can only look at them with your eyes and let them behold who you have been captivated and lit by the fire, love and power of God.
Love them, listen to them, don't counsel them, but keep your eyes locked to theirs until all their reasoning and talking stops. That's the only way they will see what you see.

Understanding a Prophets Ministry
Most will say it's a question of discernment of accuracy and their judging on current events. It's not.
1. It's a question of "purpose", a prophets role and timing. But how we receive it greatly depends on how much we are personally intimate with God, know the bible, and His purpose for all nations, and specifically America.
2. A prophet will not see everything or share everything they know. God sees the big picture and a prophet will speak to different layers or pieces of the picture.
3. Most want to know that God is in control of the big picture. He is, but many Christians are not engaged in the sharing the gospel, so their wanting security is enough.
4. Christians who are engaged sharing the gospel, discipling others etc, have different levels of responsibility, so a prophets word may be clear to some and confusing to others.
5. Pastors, teachers and evangelists have quite a diverse set of views and opinions, yet we give grace to them and acknowledge we may not see everything they see or understand everything they say. So we need to give that same grace to prophets.
6. Matt 10: 41 Whoever receives a prophet because he is God’s messenger[a] will share a prophet’s reward. And whoever welcomes a good and godly man because he follows me[b] will also share in his reward. 42 And whoever gives a cup of cold water to one of my humble disciples, I promise you, he will not go unrewarded.”
7. A prophets word and ministry is validated in hindsight or in looking back in history and seeing how their message was congruent to peoples lives, the church and the nation.

Does disease have the authority to harm you?
Just as Jesus sent his diciples out, so he has sent you.
"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:19-20
When you rejoice with Christ and walk with him, you can "...lay hands on the sick and they will recover." Mark 16:18
Your family and friends need you now more then ever...pray for them and they shall recover.
