Whimsy Squirrel

Here's another little Halloween inspired painting for the FLAG community. It's so fun insisting on sticking to using all the colors of the rainbow, but still making it look festive and seasonal. Looking forward to seeing where this little gem will go.

Part of my folk art practice is to continue the tradition of donating tiny original artwork to free little art galleries. I am painting a few Halloween/Fall inspired little artworks to give away. This is my way of welcoming and celebrating the season. I am having fun sticking to my color palette, but finding ways to make it festive and seasonal.

I'm working on another flower girl drawn/painted with Posca acrylic pens. This is my second attempt at a portrait and I'm kinda not mad at the process. I think I'm doing ok for a self taught newbie with limited supplies. Can't wait to see how it looks after I'm done with the floral hair.

I've just completed the tiniest paintings I've ever done and I love them so much. These will be gifted to a Free Little Art Gallery in Vegas that accepts only 2" or smaller works. So I hope whoever gets them likes them as much as me and maybe even tags me.

These are the tiny square 3x3 or round 4" artworks I've been creating to give away mostly to free little art galleries around town. I'm continuing to paint to send some artwork to other States and to Canada. If you've received an artwork, please tag me because I'd love to see what you think about them. I am thinking about selling some of them on eBay for $15, which includes shipping. When that happens I will make a new post about it.

I am a new Artist and just released my first souvenir enamel pin. I'm starting this journey with Arizona. I love it there, with family ties in Phoenix and wonderful memories in Tucson. I plan to be back there soon, spending more time in Flagstaff, Sedona, Bisbee and Tombstone. Let me know what you think about this pin and thanks for checking it out.
