Julius Faison, a 12-year-old from NYC, turned his love for adventurous stories into his own book about a Black superhero! During virtual learning in the pandemic, Julius and his mom crafted "Jewels and Stella: The Secret," where Jewels, his friends, and his pet bird battle evil to save the world. Proudly featuring a Black protagonist, Julius plans to donate profits to Durham Nativity School and dreams of his book becoming a Tyler Perry-produced animated movie!

the official JCF Alumni Association Store is NOW OPEN for pre-orders until
July 5th then all items will also be available July 13th at the picnic. We carry blankets, t-shirts, hoodies, tumblers, towels. Memorabilia items like the tumblers and towels can be personalized same day and the towels personalized with all your close friends/family's names; hats and visors will also be available on and before July 13th !!
