It kind of seemed like the Spurs felt like they won the finals after beating the Thunder, but in reality they still had another series to play. The Knicks have taken a 2-0 lead vs the Spurs in the NBA Finals now. Both wins were in San Antonio.

REPORT: LeBron James & his agent, Rich Paul, will ask the Los Angeles Lakers for a maximum contract this summer, according to Kurt Helin of NBC Sports.

In Game 1, Hart scored only three points, but completely took over the hustle categories with a game-high 15 rebounds, six assists, and four steals as the Knicks erased a double-digit deficit to steal home-court aadvantage

His performance was so unique that he became the first player in NBA Finals history to lead both teams outright in rebounds, assists, and steals in the same game. Game 2 was the opposite statistically, as foul trouble limited Hart to just 18 minutes and he finished scoreless, but the Rodman comparisons remained fitting because his impact has never been about points. Like Rodman during the Bulls’ championship runs, Hart influences winning through rebounding, defense, loose balls, screens, and pure energy. Through two Finals games, his box scores have become a reminder that some of basketball’s most valuable contributions don’t always show up in the scoring column, and Hart’s relentless style has been a major reason the Knicks now hold a 2-0 series lead.
