Ever wondered why you see people leaning forward or staying upright on this machine? Hereβs the difference!
By staying upright in the seat, the side glute aka the Gluteus Medius is worked. This is a shorter and thinner muscle when compared to the Gluteus Maximus which is one of the thickest muscles in the body. For optimal glute gains, consider cheating the upright position to activate the gluteus Maximus. Lean over, that way you place the gluteus Maximus into a stretched position. Donβt have this machine? You can use a band around your knees instead!
