Our Story
CASA stands for Cambodian American Student Association!
UML CASA is a Umass Lowell student organization whose purpose is to promote Khmer culture, tradition, and language. Not only is UML CASA a proud UMass Lowell representative on-campus, UML CASA acts as a student representative to the Khmer Community in Lowell, MA; the second-largest Cambodian-American population demographics within the entire nation. UML CASA's mission is to spread knowledge and awareness, advocate Cambodian culture and empowerment, and provide a welcoming and inclusive campus environment for students to actively contribute to the UMass Lowell campus community and the community-at-large.
