Iron Plainsmen Robotics

Last week, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics team went on a field trip to United Family Super Markets' Ice and Grocery Plant! The team had lots of fun and got to see a real-world application of robotics. They are incredibly grateful for the opportunity and their sponsorship!

This last Friday, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics team achieved 1st place in the Tin-Man competition hosted by South Plains! The team is so proud to have taken home the Tin-Man award.

The Iron Plainsmen had a wonderful time at State last week! Congratulations to all the teams that competed this year. The competition was great, but the experience and camaraderie were what really made it awesome! The Plainsmen cannot wait for next year (hopefully with fewer mishaps)!

At the Amarillo competition this weekend, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics team won the Sustainability Award! Our team is super proud and can't wait for Houston next week.

The Iron Plainsmen have qualified for State in Houston after the Amarillo competition last week!

The Iron Plainsmen robotics team is wrapping up packing everything we'll need for competition this weekend in San Antonio!! We are making our final tweaks to our robot, Triple H, and are getting some final driving practice in!
