Why Glass You Ask?

I started blowing glass in 2013 after making my first discovery of the art form from (Luke) A local artist vending at a festival in southern Illinois. I was hooked and it immediately started my interest to become a glass blower. Since then just pursuing my artistic vision in Glass Art & Graphic design has truly been amazing. I currently reside in CHICAGO IL, suburbs where i works alongside my apprentice and some of Chicago-land's best artists!

"I really like to be playful with my work, I guess Id say i like to bring the viewer (or user) back to their childhood! i love making sculptural art because of the character i can bring out of myself in every piece. It also reminds me to not take life so seriously... Be creative and have fun!”

Why pipes? (The #1 Question) Making a functional art piece really allows someone to bond with that object. They will have experiences with it, develop a relationship with it, and in time it will become more than a piece in their collection- it will become "Sentimental" like a piece of them." -S.O.G.
