Sanctuary Respite Ministry

Tuesday we celebrated Mardi Gras with Mardi Gras music and beads, beads, beads!!! We learned more about Mardi Gras, Fay Tuesday, and the history of King Cakes. Then ended King Cake season by making our own mini King Cake. This was our most ambitious cooking project yet, but they turned out very well. We enjoyed singing love songs with Ms. Charlene and ended the day with rollicking game of Tunnel Of Love between the Kings and the Cakes. It was a tie, but an awesome battle!!! Oh so much fun!
