Future Forward is proud to announce we have been awarded the prestigious Tutoring Design Program Badge from Stanford University’s National Student Support Accelerator (NSSA). To receive a Badge, our program was evaluated by a third-party team of education leaders to assess its alignment to rigorous Tutoring Quality Standards. The design of Future Forward's tutoring and family engagement program was shown to excel in Instruction, Learning Integration, and Cohesion.

Class dismissed! 🎓 Our students at Green Ridge, Mt. Gilead, and Star Elementaries in Montgomery County, NC celebrated their graduation from the program last week, even receiving their Future Forward "degrees" in reading success!

At our Montgomery County Schools North Carolina, we marched into reading like it was our favorite cardio. 📚💪
Our March family events were full of books, games, snacks, and smiles. Huge thanks to the families who showed up, showed out, and reminded us that reading is better when it’s shared.

Meet Weston (left) and Gabby (right), two Future Forward students from Cherokee County School District who bring joy to every session! Weston, a student at Draytonville Elementary, loves coming to Future Forward. At Luther Vaughan Elementary, Gabby’s favorite part is picking out a book for her tutor, Mr. Robert, to read.
Students like Weston and Gabby come to Future Forward excited to learn—and the strong relationships they build with their tutors make that experience even more meaningful. 🚀

Future Forward is a Research-Based Early Reading Intervention that works.
Future Forward integrates One-On-One Tutoring and Family Engagement.
Future Forward serves K-3 struggling readers. Reaching children through a multi-tiered model that affects multiple aspects of their daily experience, the Future Forward program is more effective than any one approach or intervention on its own.
Each Future Forward site is supervised by a certified teacher or youth serving professional and has dedicated space to support literacy instruction and house Future Forward curriculum and materials. The Future Forward program is freestanding, using dedicated staff and resources, yet has the full collaboration of school administrators and classroom teachers.
Future Forward's ultimate goal is for all students to read at grade level by the end of third grade.
