We won!
Our team, OPEN Books, worked so hard on our outfit and we didn’t think we’d make it to the top three, let alone to first! What an experience!
And we put a lot of heart (and tears) into this project. The message is personal, for all of us who see our identities considered a threat. Our books banned. We’re proud of for standing up for LGBTQIA+ books and BIPOC books and so many stories that open up our worlds. you filled everyone’s hearts! Thank you!
