In 2023, Madison/Dane CoC was awarded HUD funding to address unsheltered homelessness. These funds have expanded our community's street outreach capacity and increased availbility of rapid rehousing resources. The National Alliance to End Homelessness has released some early data on the impacts of these funds across the country.

Thank you to the Cap Times for highlighting the Homelessness Awareness Summit! It is important that the community is aware of the increasing homelessness among older adults.
Case managers report more homelessness among Dane County older adults At the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, a session focused on housing insecurity among older adults, a group increasingly facing homelessness.
Due to weather conditions, Urban Triage has postponed the Homelessness Awareness Rally. It will take place on Tuesday, March 2, 2026. More information will be sent closer to the date.
