Life In Rose Farm
TX Cut Rose Farm offering Cut Your Own Roses, Bare Root & Potted Roses, Afternoon Tea & Venue Rental.
First time for everything! I’d heard about it and thought it was a thing of the past… but nope, it still exists. 🤣 Yep, I had my very first squat toilet experience. IYKYK. And that was just one small part of our fishing excursion in Phu Quoc. But let me tell you — this whole outing was truly the experience of a lifetime. 💝
Shaw loves to fish, but ever since we started the rose farm, he hasn’t had much time for it. 🎣 So whenever we travel, I’m always on the lookout for excursions like this that I know he’d love.
I knew this one would be a bit of a stretch for my friends and my parents, but YOLO, right? A little discomfort every now and then only helps us grow. 🌱
And wow… were we in for the full experience — monsoon storms and all. 🌧️ Everyone was such a trooper through it. The kids had a blast, Shaw was obviously in his element, but what surprised me most was learning that this ended up being the highlight of my dad’s trip. 🥰
It was such an authentic and beautiful way to connect with the people, immerse ourselves in their way of life, and appreciate the abundance that nature has to offer. And getting to eat freshly harvested seafood straight from the ocean? It truly does not get better than that.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Phu Quoc, Vietnam.
Monsoon storms, squat toilets, fresh seafood, and memories we’ll never forget — Joy Adventures.Local Phu Quoc_Nhà Trên Biển , you gave us the full experience and we loved every minute of it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I hooted and hollered. I cheered. And…I may have even cursed a little 🫣🤣 But y’all… I had the BEST Mother’s Day weekend just sitting back and watching my girl leave it all on the volleyball court 🏐 Oh, and winning second place overall in the Gold bracket finish was the icing on the cake 🍰
For the last 6 years, Mother’s Day weekend has looked a whole lot different around here — delivering bouquets all over town, hosting Afternoon Teas, setting up Rose Bar, and working through one of the busiest weekends of our entire season here at the farm.
So this year felt different. Slower. Sweeter. A little unfamiliar, if I’m being honest.
Part of me felt guilty… like I should be working, because this is usually go-time in the rose world. But the other part of me knew this was A GIFT — one I wasn’t supposed to miss. 🥹
After the weekend-long regional tournament, my family took me to an early sushi dinner, and I came home and treated myself to some of my rarer home-grown roses. Because if there’s one thing about me… I will always find my way back to the garden 🌱
This Mother’s Day looked different than the last several years, but maybe that’s what made it so special.
A little rest. A LOT OF GRATITUDE. And a quiet feeling that God may be using this pause to prepare me for something, dare I say, even greater ahead 🙏
Turns out, the best bouquet I got this Mother’s Day was getting to watch my girls bloom. 🥹🏐🌹And boy do both of them make this mama so humbled and proud at the same time!
Sending virtual love and many beautiful wishes to all my kickass mamas, mamas to-be, and papas who have to play both roles!
Happiest to you all!! 💐
Sending EXTRA LOVE and good vibes to all my gals longing for this day and others longing for their mamas. My heart is with you 💝
