Stories are powerful! Our brains typically cannot retain the random details we face well. And it surely does not hold on to long drawn out details unless we present them in a story.

We tend to remember some key points of a really memorable story for a few days, sometimes weeks, months or even years all based on how many of our senses became engaged.

Stories help us to connect. It helps us to touch our audience, as it lingers and ruminates.

As a visionary thought leader you want to tell your audience a story that impacts their lives. How will your story help them to grow their business, or to enhance their life? How can your story help them create memories?

Storytelling is a way to share our unique journeys. We can immerse our audience into an experience where they can see, feel and believe their own role within the story. At the end of the day, remember, no one is actually buying a product or a service, they are truly buying your help to solve their problems.

A good story can allow you to attract new clients and further deepen the ones that already exist. It can inspire a crowd and also educate the masses.

Stories usually are used to spark necessary conversations. Stories can be verbal, written or visual.

I am a Visual Design Strategist and owner of Fresh Medley Designs Studio, a boutique design studio that caters to women in service-based businesses who are making impact in this world with their talents, expertise and need support to strategically and beautifully grow their business⠀

Over the years, I've truly garnered and honed many skills, my love for expressing myself creatively started since I was a little girl. I've taken my years of arts and crafts (can you say yay for mixed media and collage making, painting and messy fun!?), blogging and dabbling code, and found my happy place right in the world of designing⠀

Fun fact, I wanted to do interior designing as well (I still obsessively watch my faves in that space, because it's so inspiring to see rooms/spaces transform)⠀

Born and raised in Jamaica, migrated just shy of turning 16⠀

Going 7 years in Nov being married, to a techy (IT Consultant who is all about network systems and security, p.s. he totally does not like social media lolol!, but he uses it ultra sparingly and he runs from any chances of being in any pictures/videos)⠀

I am quirky, love to laugh, am pretty silly with my friends, but love a good deep convo + learning⠀

I look for the good in people and in every situation first. I love to sing, I'm INFJ who seems to resonate mainly with type 2/4/9 whenever I happen look at any Enneagram posts⠀
