Heads up! The first Local Planning Committee (LPC) meeting for the Village of Marcellus' New York Forward grant will be held Thursday, July 23 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Marcellus Free Library. LPC meetings are open to the public to observe. There will be a public comment period at the end of the meeting.

 Earlier this year, the Village of Marcellus was selected for a $4.5 million NY Forward award to help identify and complete transformative and/or catalytic projects in and near downtown. Now, the planning process for this NY Forward award is underway!

Marcellus Dems supports Ian Phillips for CNY for NY State Assembly.

Marcellus Dems only had one race on our ballot for yesterday’s primaries. It was for State Comptroller. The long term incumbent, Thomas DiNapoli, won comfortably. He secured 65.7% of the votes. His closest challenger, Drew Warshaw, secured 20.1% (these figures are based on the 90% of votes that have currently been counted).

Tuesday, June 23rd is Primary day. Polls open until 9:00 pm. Go vote y’all!

Our County Legislator, Gregg Eriksen, will be at the Marcellus library Monday, June 22 from 5-7 pm. Come on out to meet him and ask questions!
