Finally back in town after 4 straight weekends at the track culminating with a 12 day trip to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the SCCA Runoffs. It was a lot of hard work especially the final 2 events. NASA championships with East Street Racing was 4 straight days of brutal heat and humidity at Daytona and we came home with Preston Pardus winning the Spec Miata championship. Indy was 4 days of travel and 8 days at the track with OPM Autosports. My first time working for Tom Fowler and Tracy-Ann Fowler who are probably the best people in amateur road racing. More hard work including a last minute scramble to repair Danny Steyn's #39 STL MX5 resulted in Danny taking the checkered flag for the win and the championship as he put on a clinic in rain driving. And oh yeah Preston Pardus won SM again and ESR got the top 2 spots in that class. Congrats to Jim Drago and his incredible team. Boy it's good to be home!
