Quilt Yur Blessins

Whats new with Quilt Yur Blessins? Well right now we are in the midst of quilt planning. The one thing we definitely want to do is to give back to those around us for care having been given to one of ours. Or as my sister Catherine has taught me, we want to "pay it forward". What we would like to do is to sell prayer shawls. And when a prayer shawl is ordered we make an additional one to send to the "Quilts of Valor" or the" Wounded Warrior" projects. We would also be interested in making 4 miniature quilts to send to the local hospital to be available for those mothers who struggle with stillbirth. These young broken hearted families deserve and require the loving respectful moment with their loss and what better way than with a quilt to wrap up that memory. So as we would sell a quilt or prayer shawl, we would actually be doing two. One to go to the purchaser and one in their name to go to one of these projects. So keep a watch and see how we do. So, I have created a blog, that I am trying to tie into the face book so that everyone can see it. Eventually I will get this right. We are excited we've got some new fabric in to work with on our new quilts. I think we will post pictures of the process.
