Elect Wanda Halbert

Today we remember and honor the life of Millington native Tim Creager who gave his life to protect fellow Marines and defend our country. Tim graduated from Marine basic training in 2003, and went on to earn the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Combat Distinguishment for Valor while saving his platoon from a 2004 ambush near Fallujah, Iraq. He was laid to rest July 11, 2004 in Memphis, Tennessee and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received during action. Tim embodied the bravery of our armed forces and we will always honor him. 🇺🇸
