The (mini) Really, Really Free Market is back again with Oxford Community Market!

The RRFM is a space for members of the Lafayette-Oxford-University community to take care of each other, practicing mutual aid by sharing goods and services with no expectation of compensation. This means no money or exchanges are necessary, just give what you can and take what you need!

The market will run alongside & in partnership with the Oxford Community Market from 3:00pm to 6:30pm, Tuesday, June 28th at the Old Armory Pavilion at 1801 University Avenue. Stop by anytime to spend time with your community while getting some local produce & stopping by the RRFM area to pick up and/or drop off some free food, clothes, kitchenware, toiletries, kids’ toys, books, art, and more! Join us tonight for our final public event of Radical Rush Week 2021!

We’ll be joined by featured guest speakers & former student organizers, Dominique Garrett-Scott & Mina Aria! Dominique is a graduate of the University of Mississippi & founder of Students Against Social Injustice whose campus organizing included the 2015 campaign. Mina is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis & founder of their chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine whose campus organizing included the Peabody Coal divestment campaign.

They will be discussing their past experiences as student organizers, their current work, & visions for the future of campus organizing.
