Simple Fixes

Out with the old and in with the new. It's crazy that now a power cord is additional. Reminds me of an I Love Lucy episode where the door to door vacuum salesman sells Lucy "The Works"; literally all the internal workings of the vacuum cleaner.

Six decades of deterioration. It had a good run!

Another fence repair...
I liked the metal fence poles encased in cedar. Makes it look so clean and this fence will last. Wood fence posts are usually the first thing to go.

I fully expected to be completely wrecked the next morning after jackhammering all that concrete but thank goodness for the Lord's mercy and ibuprofen!

Broken valve was spraying water everywhere! Fortunately it was just a couple of compression nuts on the new valve and it was good to go. Simple fix!

Where are the screws for this thing?
This RV microwave touch panel broke and was shocking them when using it. Time for a new one so they had me research, purchase and install.

After the customer reported a loud squealing sound following a toilet flush, I troubleshooted by opening and closing the valve several times, and though the sound stopped, they opted for a replacement for assurance.

They were wondering how the bugs kept getting in under the sink.

The waste hose on this RV kept leaking, even though 3 different hoses were tried. I believe the problem was whatever this hardened black substance was that was sticking out at least 1/16". I filed it down, hoping it solved the problem, taking care not to file too much and cause a different leak.

Not much of a "fix" but cleaned up all the algae and added some tape to the cap to keep it from leaking again. It does look much nicer! Another Simple Fix
