Steps to Build:
1. Foundation & Structure:
Build a solid base for the structure using timber or concrete. Ensure the walls are sealed for privacy and the roof is made with durable, weather-resistant materials.

2. Ventilation System:
Install a vent pipe with a fly screen at the top to prevent insects and odors from entering the building. Ensure the ventilation system runs from the composting chamber to the outside.

3. Composting Chamber:
Construct the composting chamber with easy access for waste removal. The chamber should be divided for dry waste, such as sawdust or other composting materials, and wet waste from the urine diversion system.

4. Urine Diversion System:

5. Toilet Seat & User Comfort:
Install a simple but comfortable pedestal and seat with a lid to cover the waste compartment. Ensure that the seat is ergonomically designed for ease of use.
A fly screen and ventilation at the top help keep the air fresh and prevent unwanted pests.
6. Cleaning & Maintenance:
Provide a washbasin with handwashing facilities just outside the toilet building. Ensure a functional water system, whether rainwater or a water tank, is available for cleaning purposes.
Periodically check and turn the compost, which should be moved and removed by hand as it breaks down into usable, odor-free compost.
