Exactly one year ago, I found myself at Books and Books, a heartbeat away from sharing 'Doreen by Doreen' with the world for the first time. Surrounded by the incredible Tabitha Rose from Life to Paper and my dear friend and talented fellow author, Cardsy B I held the pages of my book, edges worn from anxious folding, unsure of how Doreen would be received.

As I began to voice Doreen's story, something magical happened. What started as a ripple of chuckles swelled into waves of laughter, until I saw tears of joy glistening in the eyes of our audience.

That day, Doreen wasn't just a figment of my imagination anymore; she was alive, resonating in the hearts of others!

Fast forward to today, and I'm beyond thrilled to share that 'Doreen by Doreen' will soon reach even more readers! I'm hosting an exclusive event for friends, family, and chosen family on Saturday, November 11 at 5 PM at the Beyond Words Book Festival at Nautilus Hotel, Miami Beach.

Not only will attendees receive an advanced reader copy signed by yours truly, but they'll also be part of a lively reading and discussion about the book that's close to my heart.
