You know that one card you’ve always wanted?

Yeah… this was that card for me.

The dream card. The kind you picture in your collection for years. Then someone asked if I’d sell it.

I tried to say no.

I really did. I didn’t have it in me

But at the end of the day, seeing someone else as excited about it as I was made the decision impossible. So the card changed hands.

Part of collecting is chasing the next grail. Part of it is knowing when to let one go.
