may be over, but the utility, joy, and importance of the bicycle never ends.

As we continue through 2026, let’s remember that , connected low-stress networks, and kid-friendly neighborhood streets require constant advocacy. Master plans need to get implemented, pilot tests need funding, and communities must speak up in unison.

BikeSafe is looking forward to supporting these efforts for many years to come.

We met over 100 people at Lotus House's helmet (and more) giveaway in the space of just an hour. Care packs of healthy food, living essentials, WalkSafe water bottles, sunglasses, and other items were distributed en masse to those in need.

Thank you to our volunteers Maria, Madi, and Nick for helping out to make UHealth's support a success.

The Village of Pinecrest partnered with the University of Miami's BikeSafe team on a federal Safe Streets for All initiative.

If you have a school-aged child, your 5-minute anonymous survey is exactly what this study needs. The BikeSafe team wants to know how your family moves through Pinecrest, how the walk to school feels, where you feel confident and where you pause. Every answer becomes a data point that informs real street safety improvements for this community.
