NEXT QUESTION: DO I HIRE A PUBLIC ADJUSTER OR AN ATTORNEY AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
All over the internet I see a million reasons why you need to hire a Public Adjuster. I will not knock their profession. In fact, we have friends in the industry that do great work AND we do the same work! The articles we've researched (well more like marketing materials) are not informative but swaying. They try to convince you that an attorney is only interested in litigation (filing suit) and doesn't get into the details of your claim. Well, that's just false.
A public adjuster is a licensed professional who knows how to estimate and document your damages to fight for your claim. If they cannot get appropriate compensation or your claim is denied they send your file to an attorney for litigation. Now the insured has to meet new representation who knows nothing of their file and has no rapport with the client. Our attorneys work with Loss Consultants (aka public adjuster working under a law firm), who are expert damage assessors and estimators. They are vetted to assure the attorney that they want the most for your claim and are accountable to the attorneys and the attorney's reputation and bar license. If you should need to go to litigation you are already represented by a law office. When "YOUR ATTORNEY" is calling on the line, the insurance company will respond.
NEXT QUESTION: THE INSURANCE COMPANY IS CALLING ME AFTER MY REPRESENTATION/ATTORNEY HAS FILED THE CLAIM? WHAT DO I SAY?

Home damaged? Is your roof leaking? Water inside your house? CALL MY OFFICE or CALL ME DIRECTLY!!!
Ian was a Catastrophic Hurricane for many, but we are all feeling NOW the impact of the damages that occurred when communications are down, power is out and transportation is limited or not available. Our homes are flooded, our roofs leaking and water is inside our homes. We are advising all those impacted to please have copies of their Homeowner’s and/or Flood Insurance Policy’s DECLARATION PAGE (first two pages of the insurance policy that gives general information as to ownership, property covered by insurance and the general coverage and terms provided by the insurance policy) ready. This will ensure that you have available with you the information necessary to allow us to file your claim as soon as possible.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
After catastrophic storms, insurance companies can take weeks, if not months, to send their adjusters to do an initial inspection. That is why it is vital to have a team of insurance claim experts on your side. The first persons to file claims are the first to have their claim PAID. This is because most insurance companies do not have the sufficient number of adjusters to handle a storm of this magnitude. Consequently, insurance companies begin outsourcing the adjusting work which takes months.
The time to seek representation is NOW. In some instances, insurance companies will go bankrupt. Our expert team combined has over 15 years protecting the interests of home and business owners during all stages of the insurance claim process including handling the appraisal (arbitration) and, if need be, litigating the rights of the homeowner in court. Our staff is composed of attorneys, loss consultants, estimators and appraisers which ensure your claim is expedited and your claim is maximized.
However, we cannot help you unless YOU give us a call. Avoid what happened to homeowners after hurricane Katrina, Wilma, Irma, where homeowners were left without insurance compensation for months or longer.
CALL US NOW! We are ready to act on your behalf to protect your rights against the insurance companies.
