Nobody really talks about this, but we all have to go through this phase.

There is no shortcut around it. No version where you skip the uncomfortable parts and still become the man you are meant to be.

I had to slow down. I got f’n humbled. I had to completely rewire how I thought, how I moved, and what I tolerated.

Some nights were quiet in a way that messes with your head. No applause. No phone calls. Just you, your thoughts, and the work.

But staying locked in during those nights changed everything.

That is where the discipline came from. That is where the clarity came from. That is where I figured out who I actually was and who I was no longer willing to be.

I did not change who I am at the core. I changed what had access to me.

It was rough. But it gave me purpose. And I know exactly where I am headed now.
