Another update. We got growing babies! 🤩
My bantam cochin is broody again so I had to double check her eggs to make sure they were growing. She had so many stacking up under her sooo i took out the ones that she was taking from the other hens lol.
I saw great growth! Im so excuted to see babies 💜💜

My ladies have definitely slowed down with this crazy on and off rainy then hot weather. But ive been getting some beautiful eggs. So excited for all my pullets to start laying ! Im ready for all the speckles too ! 🙌💜

Welsummer baby roos 👀
I hatched about 7 and only keeping 3. What do I do with the rest? 😭😭
These babies are so cute and sweet this is the hard part of hatching chicks is all the roos you end up with. And these wellies come from great lines! Isbell Family Homestead Broke barn bird farm Webbed Foot Farm super speckled eggs with my wellies from webbed foot farm having beautiful blooms that make the eggs look purple! 🤩
Since im replacing my wellie roos with these new boys and if I don't rehome the rest I might keep another for another project... a wellie roo with some olive egger or silverudd ladies? 🤔
I bought my child a new pair of crocs. He puts them on and goes straight outside. 1 minute later he comes with his crocs in his hands crying that he stepped on p**p!
I look at them and dam its like he picked the biggest s**t to step on! 🤦♀️
Good thing crocs are washable lmao

Update on broody bantam cochin.
She has left her nest and I found more eggs.. she has been stealing everyone else's eggs lol... this girl 🤦♀️
Ill go outside again to gather them , then candle, and whatever is growing ill put them back and we'll see if she'll get back on lol.
I swear they try to hatch babies left and right 😅
