When left-wing people wonder why right-wing people don't take them seriously about their complaints, it's partially because there's a legion of left-wing folks who will say the ugliest, nastiest, borderline-threats to your face, and they rarely face any consequences for their actions.

I'm glad we have freedom of speech in America, I just wish leftists weren't so consistently bloodthirsty and insane. I suspect it has something to do with their underlying values and principles that they only know how to resort to violence when they meet principled opposition.
