Last week Firefly Station Family Ranch hosted a newly formed Girl Scout Troup from Memphis Athletic Ministries at our first ever "Ranch Camp" during their spring break. They all completed the requirements for their Horseback riding and Gardening badges. The weather did not reach 30 degrees on any day they were here, but on the third and final day we had sun and no wind. Full attendance all three days, even from the volunteers!

So fun to have a new Girl Scout troop (12 girls) from Memphis Athletic Ministries come spend some time with us on Veterans Day! Good thing we had 3 retired Navy Captains on hand to keep these girls busy! We took naps after....

Memphis Athletic Ministries visited us this afternoon. They helped with some fencing work and putting up some insulation and learned a few things about the horses. What a fun group of helpers!
