VFW Post 2879 - Bay View

The post will be donating $200 to give food baskets to two families in Bay View this year for Thanksgiving. We will also be donating $100 in turkeys to the Bay View Community Center.

Last month, we gave $25 to the Bobby Nelson Fund, $25 to the Bay View Interorganizational Org Council, $50 to Emergency Relief fund, $100 to Fischer House, $50 to Honor Flight, $50 to the VFW National Home Halloween Party, $50 to the USO.

Your donations to towards not only keeping our post alive, but towards things in our community and to help veterans! Thank you so much for your support!

It's that time of year! We are selling raffle tickets for $20 each to benefit the WI VFW! If you are interested, please send a direct message and we can set up a time to meet!

Last year, Commander Ricciardi's granddaughter won $2,500 from the calendar raffles, so you absolutely have a chance to win some big big money!

HEY BAY VIEW! Did you know that our post is always looking for new members? You get all kinds of great benefits for joining the VFW, such as retail discounts, accidental death insurance with your life membership, travel discounts, prescription discounts, etc.

You also get the benefit of camaraderie, fun events, and the knowledge that you are helping other veterans and the families, such as at the VFW National Home, which helps the families of fallen vets and disabled vets get back on their feet.

Nominations for elections for 2020 will be taking place at the March meeting.
