I wrote a long, sappy, & self-indulgent caption about this note “chosen family rocks” I noticed left on a table at a wedding. But I deleted everything I wrote because it can be summed up just by restating it: Chosen family rocks.

I loved my friends extra hard this year and they loved me right back. I’m lucky enough to have some biological family that also rocks, but don’t ever let anyone make you feel like your wedding or life in general is lacking if most of your family in it is chosen. xoxo
