SIXTEEN years ago this month we watched Powaqqatsi and it had a profound effect on us. The shrooms we may or may not have been on probably enhanced that.

The next day as a film exercise we shot Moonbeamqqatsi, to tell a story without dialog set to song.

Our movie, at 4:20 long, was about a lad whose favorite pipe breaks. Unable to cope with the loss of this treasured possession he is driven to alcohol and eventually succumbs to his sadness, slitting his wrist with his broken pipe, letting the darkness consume him. Kino as F**K

Bonus points for the audio being a solid white bar of ear violence and the fact that we showed this 4-5 times at our highschool.

Found our old vines and set photos for 2015 while reformatting cards. Hopped on the bandwagon too late but it was fun while it lasted. Only made a handful of videos till Vine died. Sadly not as cringy as I remembered.

The last one we shot before Vine died. I seem to remember we had a few Specialist Ed ones but I guess it's ok I can't find them it's not really worth getting canceled over 😆
