In the pursuit of dreams and goals, do not lose sight of your first love. Keep God at the center of everything you do. Do not push God to the background after God opens the very doors you once prayed and cried for.

In this season, I am watching people I care about walk into blessings yet place God second when God was once first in their lives. It hurts to see it happen.

My prayer is that this reaches the right person who will pause and say, “God, help me realign with You. I let the lights distract me and began making excuses for why You were no longer first.”

May this message stir a shift in someone’s heart, because in an instant, God can blow out the candle. And when that moment comes, the question remains: was it all truly worth it?
