Mr. Boombastic

UPDATE:
Stitches are out and pathology is back. The results were that the growth on Mr. Boombastic’s back was low grade mast cell. Not exactly the results we wanted to hear but definitely could’ve been worse. The silver lining is that when Dr. Lynne did the procedure two weeks ago, she took out some pretty large margins so we think we are in the clear. Dr. Lynne is amazing and we are so thankful for her and her team! We will know more on Tuesday as to what the next steps will be or if anything else needs to be done. 💙🩵🤍

Thank you all for the love and light today! The surgery went well and “grouchy old man” is home resting in his favorite spot…Joe Weber’s chair. What we orginally thought was a wart on Mr Boombastic’s back was indeed not a wart. Dr Lynne removed it and has sent it off for pathology to be sure it isn’t cancerous. We should know something in about 2 weeks. Please say a prayer that everything comes back fine!
In the meantime, let’s see if we can keep Oliver Jackson and Luna Lucille from “roughhousing” with him for the next two weeks.
